The Swan Valley Stampeders fell hard Sunday afternoon, dropping an 8-2 decision to the Niverville Nighthawks.
The Nighthawks opened the scoring 4:16 into the game and really never looked back. Taking advantage of a tired Stampeder squad, the Nighthawks added three more in the second period and four straight goals in the third period to take an 8-2 win on home ice.
The Stampeders scored twice in this afternoon’s game which came off the stick of Carter Nailen at 6:07 of the second period and Carter DeMelo, 20 seconds into the third period.

The Stampeders will return home and gather themselves for a pair of games at the Centennial Arena starting Friday night at home against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. Puck drop is set for 7pm and tickets can be purchased online, through our app or at the door.
