Stampeders Drop to 1-4-0 on the Season with an 8-2 Loss Sunday Afternoon

The Swan Valley Stampeders fell hard Sunday afternoon, dropping an 8-2 decision to the Niverville Nighthawks.

The Nighthawks opened the scoring 4:16 into the game and really never looked back. Taking advantage of a tired Stampeder squad, the Nighthawks added three more in the second period and four straight goals in the third period to take an 8-2 win on home ice.

The Stampeders scored twice in this afternoon’s game which came off the stick of Carter Nailen at 6:07 of the second period and Carter DeMelo, 20 seconds into the third period.
